Seedling Speech & Language provides speech and language services to children and families in the Gateway area of NE Portland.

We use a child-centered approach, working closely with families to develop treatment goals that are meaningful and functional. All therapy sessions are individually structured to support your child’s communication goals through play, art, and practice.



Meet Brigid Piccolotti (she/her)

Director, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Brigid is a nationally certified and state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric speech and language therapy.

Brigid has worked in education since 2008, providing support to families from a wide range of backgrounds. As a classroom assistant and behavioral aide, she realized her passion was supporting communication. She returned to school and has been an SLP since 2016.

Her education includes a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Utah State University, a B.S. in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. Her SLP clinical experience includes experience across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including early intervention, elementary school, skilled nursing, interdisciplinary outpatient clinic, and private practice.

Brigid lives in Portland with her husband, two children, and dog, and spends her free time hiking, gardening, and baking.
